AmeriTex and TCPA wanted to create an application that would serve as an interactive and educational training tool for their engineers, trade partners, and other stakeholders. Through a collaborative process with the AmeriTex engineers and product professionals, we developed a thorough and informative augmented reality experience that is now being used by all members of the Texas Concrete Pipe Association, and is a first in the concrete pipe industry. Through voice-overs, animations, and prompts, users are guided through the different stages of pipe installation and have available to them an interactive menu that plays in, in real-time 3D, every stage in the installation process, while showcasing the difference between concrete and plastic pipes.
